System Limits of Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control

In addition to the system limitations of the Dynamic Road Sign Display function and ACC, the predictive cruise control function has the following additional, system- related limitations:

  • The predictive cruise control function can only recognise traffic speed limit signs. The system does not recognise other signs and traffic signals- Predictive cruise control is not available on roads which are not recorded in the navigation data or not recorded with sufficient accuracy.- If a speed limit is announced on the basis of the navigation data but is not detected by the Dynamic Road Sign Display function, the announced speed will be reset to the last-stored speed.- The predictive cruise control cannot be adjusted below the minimum cruise speed.
