Symbols and Settings for App-Connect

The availability of these symbols depends on the mobile phone device and infotainment system version.

Disconnecting

1. Tap the Volkswagen logo in the main CarPlay or HiCar screen in the infotainment system or tap "Back to Car System" in the main CarLife screen.
2. Enter the main menu of App-Connect.
3. Tap to disconnect the active connection.

Depending on the connected device, the display of the function buttons in the infotainment system may vary.

Voice control

• Tap briefly to start voice control of the Infotainment system.
• Tap again to start voice control of the connected iPhone, you can also wake up voice operations by corresponding wake-up words on your phone.
