# Pairing and Connecting a Mobile Telephone
|

|
The mobile telephone must be paired once with the vehicle via Bluetooth®.
|
|
|
|
For further use of the Volkswagen app, the mobile device need then only be connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth®.
|
|
|
|
# Pairing a mobile telephone with the vehicle
|
|
|
|
1. Switch on the ignition.
|
|
2. Tap the P function button in the Infotainment system.
|
|
3. Tap $\square$ Settings.
|
|
4. Tap the Remote-controlled parking function button $\square$ , pairing QR code will appear in the Infotainment system.
|
|
5. Open ID. UNYX APP, tap the Volkswagen logo at the bottom of the page.
|
|
6. Tap Remote parking control to enter the pairing interface.
|
|
7. Tap Add a vehicle.
|
|
8. Tap Scan the vehicle's QR code and aim the mobile device camera at the paired QR code in the Infotainment system.
|
|
9. Complete pairing according to the prompts in the Infotainment system and mobile applications.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
# Cancelling pairing between the mobile telephone and vehicle
|
|
|
|
Remote parking is no longer possible as soon as pairing is cancelled in the app or vehicle.
|
|
|
|
The data of the mobile telephone and app can be removed in the Infotainment system.
|
|
|
|
- Tap the P function button on the infotainment system.- Remove the paired mobile phone from the parking assist system list.
|
|
|
|
To completely cancel pairing, also remove the vehicle from the Volkswagen app.
|
|
|
|
To ensure the implementation of the remote parking function, please make sure that the Bluetooth functions of the vehicle and mobile phone are activated.
|
|
|
|
The mobile application cannot be paired with multiple vehicles at the same time as it only supports pairing with one vehicle at a time. |
