Operating the Stationary Air Conditioning System

The stationary air conditioning can be operated when the charging connector is not plugged in. When the charging connector is not inserted, the stationary air conditioning will be supplied with energy from the high- voltage battery.

The stationary air conditioning only functions with the charging connector unplugged if the high- voltage battery is sufficiently charged. The stationary air conditioning will not start if the charge level of the high- voltage battery on the digital instrument cluster is in the reserve range.

Opening the Stationary air conditioning menu in the Infotainment system

  1. Tap the menu button 2. Tap Aux. Clim. Ctrl.

Setting desired temperature

  1. Open the main menu in the Infotainment system
  2. Tap Aux. Clim. Ctrl.
  3. Set the desired temperature by means of \bigcirc and \bigcirc

Immediate air conditioning of stationary vehicle

Immediate air conditioning in the exit menu in the Infotainment system.

  1. Switch on the electronic parking brake.
  2. Undo the belt buckle of the driver seat. The exit menu is displayed in the Infotainment system.
  3. In the exit menu in the Infotainment system, tap Aux. Clim. Ctrl.

The vehicle is air conditioned for around 30 minutes. The function will then switch off automatically.

Switching off the stationary air conditioning manually

In the exit menu in the Infotainment system, tap Aux. Clim. Ctrl again.

Or: tap \bigcirc in the air conditioning menu.

The stationary air conditioning switches off automatically

The stationary air conditioning switches itself off automatically if one of the following conditions is met:

After around 30 minutes if the vehicle is air conditioned with the ignition switched off. After around 15 minutes if the vehicle's drive system was not activated after a programmed departure time. If the charge level of the high- voltage battery is too low.

Operating noises can be heard if the stationary air conditioning is switched on.
