Operating the Infotainment SystemThe digital instructions for the Infotainment system provide further information and tips for operation of the system.

Switching the Infotainment system on or off
The Infotainment system switches on automatically in the following cases:
When the driver gets into the vehicle. When the ignition is switched on if the Infotainment system was not manually switched off before.
If the last set volume does not exceed the preset maximum switch- on volume, the Infotainment system will start up at this volume.
The Infotainment system switches off automatically in the following cases:
When the driver leaves the vehicle. If you leave the vehicle when the ignition is inactive. After around 30 minutes without a user input if you switch on the Infotainment system manually when the ignition is inactive. After about 30 minutes without a user input if you remain seated in the vehicle when the ignition is inactive. If the Infotainment system freezes, it will restart automatically. If the restart does not work, tap and hold the sensor field for switching the Infotainment system on or off for around 15 seconds.
Adjust the brightness of the Infotainment system
Tap Vehicle Interior Display/Switch.
Adjust the screen/switch brightness by dragging the adjustment slider. Switch between day and night mode.

Main menu function buttons are fixed at the top left of the screen.
Tap the corresponding application icon to open the corresponding programme.

Configuring the app overviewYou can configure the layout of the function buttons and also the pages and displays in the app overview or have them positioned on the basis of factory layout templates.

Tap a function button and hold until the function button is visibly highlighted.

Move the function button to the desired position and release.
Personalisation
Personalise function and pages depending on the vehicle equipment.
Zoom in and out of the on-screen map display
Recommendation: use thumb and index finger.
Using two fingers at the same time, tap the screen and keep your fingers on the screen.
Slowly move your fingers apart from each other to enlarge the map display.
Slowly move your fingers closer to each other to reduce the map display.
Operating pause
If the Infotainment system is operated frequently within a short period of time while driving, a short- term interruption of operation may occur. This interruption is cancelled automatically after a short time.
