# Opening and Closing the Boot Lid Electrically
|

|
|
Open the Boot Lid Electrically
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the boot lid: button for opening the boot lid
|
|
|
|
- To activate the Keyless Access function, take the value with you and press the open button in the boot lid.
|
|
|
|
Or: Unlock all doors and press the opening button in the boot lid.
|
|
|
|
- With the vehicle value in the active range, press and hold the button $\curvearrowleft$ on the value.
|
|
|
|
Or: Pull the boot lid button on the driver's side door panel $\curvearrowleft$
|
|
|
|
# Close the Boot Lid Electrically
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
On the open boot lid: Boot lid closing button
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
On the open boot lid: handle for closing the boot lid
|
|
|
|
Press the close button on the opened boot lid.
|
|
|
|
Or: When the car value is in the valid range, long press the button $\curvearrowright$ on the value.
|
|
|
|
Or: Grasp the inside handle of the boot lid and move the boot lid slightly downwards, the boot lid will close automatically.
|
|
|
|
Or: When the vehicle is started and in park $(\widehat{p})$ , continuously pull the boot lid switch on the driver's side door panel $\curvearrowright$ until the boot lid is completely closed. If pulling the switch is interrupted during the closing process, the boot lid closure action will immediately stop.
|
|
|
|
# Interrupting the opening or closing process
|
|
|
|
Short press the button on the car value during switching on or off.
|
|
|
|
Or: Press the close button $\curvearrowright$ on the boot lid during opening or closing.
|
|
|
|
Press and hold the button $\curvearrowright$ on the value again and the lid will move back to its initial position.
|
|
|
|
Or: Pull the boot lid button on the driver's side door panel $\curvearrowright$ during the boot lid opening process.
|
|
|
|
Or: Stop pulling the boot lid button on the driver's side door panel $\curvearrowright$ during the closing process,
|
|
|
|
If the luggage compartment lid is not opened for a period of time after unlocking, the luggage compartment lid is automatically re- locked.
|
|
|
|
# Acoustic signal
|
|
|
|
An acoustic signal is emitted if the boot lid is opened or closed with the vehicle value.
|
|
|
|
# Changing and saving the opening angle
|
|
|
|
The opening angle of the boot lid can be changed if there is less space at the rear or above the vehicle than the boot lid can be flipped.
|
|
|
|
1. Interrupt the opening process in the desired opening position. The boot lid must already be at least halfway open.
|
|
2. Press and hold the closing button on the boot lid until the turn signal light flashes.
|
|
|
|
The changed opening angle is then stored.
|
|
|
|
The saving is confirmed by a flashing turn signal and an acoustic signal.
|
|
|
|

Before opening or closing the boot lid, check if there is sufficient moving space available for opening and closing the boot lid, e.g. in a garage. |
