# Adaptive Headlight System (AFS)

The adaptive headlight system enables optimum illumination of the carriageway.

A prerequisite for the proper functioning of the adaptive headlamp system is that the headlamps AUTO are automatically controlled is switched on and the vehicle speed reaches a certain range.

The adaptive headlamp function can be switched on or off in the vehicle settings menu on the infotainment system.
