# Troubleshooting
# Low tyre pressure
The indicator lamp lights up yellow.
Text message: A loss of pressure is recognised. The pressure in one or more tyres is lower than 1.4 bar or the tyre pressure is dropping rapidly.
1. Do not drive on!
2. Check all wheels for exterior damage or foreign bodies that have entered the tyres.
3. Check the tyre pressure for all tyres.
4. Change the wheel or drive at a low speed to the nearest suitably qualified workshop. Volkswagen recommends contact with an ID. UNYX Service Center.
Text message: Tyre pressures too low! The warning indicates at least one tyre with a critical tyre pressure.
1. Check and adjust the tyre pressure for all tyres.
2. Change the wheel or drive at a low speed to the nearest suitably qualified workshop. Volkswagen recommends contact with an ID. UNYX Service Center.
Text message: Please check tyre pressures. The warning indicates at least one tyre with a reduced tyre pressure.
1. Avoid long journeys and high speeds as long as the warning is displayed.
2. Check and adjust the tyre pressure for all tyres.
# Fault in the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
The indicator lamp flashes for about 1 minute and then remains lit continuously yellow.
One or more tyre pressure sensor data has not been recognised.
- Drive for a few minutes until the indicator lamp goes out.
One or more tyre pressure sensors are faulty.
- Switch the ignition off and then back on again. If the fault persists, go to a suitably qualified workshop. Volkswagen recommends contact with an ID. UNYX Service Center.
There is a transmission fault between the sensor and the system. The function of the system may be temporarily impaired if there is interference from signals in the same frequency range as these transmitters.
Switch off or avoid any interference sources, e.g. two- way radios, remote controls or children's toys.
