# Introduction to Voice Control
The voice control allows you to perform certain functions by spoken commands.
# Types of voice control
Depending on the language set in the infotainment system, you can set the voice in the General Settings menu in the System Settings or go directly to the Settings menu by clicking on the Avatar image on the Home page:
# Activate or deactivate in-vehicle voice service
- When disabled, the in-vehicle voice service will be unavailable, preventing voice wake-up and command recognition.
# Online Voice Service
- The online voice service will be unavailable after disabling, and more accurate and perfect online voice service cannot be provided.
# Recognition language (Chinese environment)
- You can set the recognition language to Mandarin, Sichuan and Cantonese.
# Wake-up Voice
- You can activate or deactivate the wake-up to voice function, and you can use the system default wake-up word or customize the wake-up word.
# Continuous Recognition
- You can activate or deactivate the continuous voice recognition function, and the continuous recognition time can be selected as 10 seconds or 20 seconds.
# Seat-based voice control
Voice operation allows voice commands to be recognized via an additional microphone. Voice operation can be used to turn on some of the seat- related functions, e.g. to turn on the seat heating.
The following zone recognition modes can be selected:
Main driver mode Wake- up and voice recognition commands for the main driver zone only.
Passenger mode Supports wake- up and voice recognition commands for the passenger zone only.
Dual Zone Mode Supports the wake- up of both the main and passenger zones and responds to voice commands from the zone that is given priority for wake- up.
Omni- Directional Mode Supports commands and interactions between the main driver and passenger voice zones in the car, and does not support voice zone recognition, robocall, or zone control.
Test voice control before starting a journey in order to familiarise yourself with the function.
